Electronic Lab Notebook   ELN
This ELN focuses on user convenience. Due to high degree of automation, it is easy to keep organized and well-maintained records with minimum efforts. Among the key strengths are the ability to prove that a record was made on a certain date, ability to share the data with any number of colleagues and ability to hyperlink pages within ELN. For example, if today's result relates to an experiment from another day, month or year, it is possible to mutually link both pages. The entire ELN has a non-proprietary HTML format and can be viewed on any computer and any OS, even without installing this program.

Introduction
Target research areas
If you are a researcher, a student, a PI, or a lab head, and work in the areas of biological and biomedical sciences or physical sciences, then this program will likely be your important lab resource. It will work for one individual, an entire lab or a cross-continent collaboration.

The ELN is not centered around any data structure. It will work with data used by chemists (chemical structures), biologists (graphs, tables, images), physicists and literally any other researchers. The ELN contains built-in modules for biochemical researchers, which help in this area, but do not stay in the way of other uses.
This "one fits all" approach is not overly broad.Think of a paper lab notebook. It contains blank pages and can be used by anyone. The same concept applies to this ELN. The program allows the user to do everything that he is used to do with paper: first of all, write comments and have pictures and sketches in the pages.
